Want to be the next President?
The election process was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my undergraduate career. It is competitive, and rightfully so! Running for an executive position, particularly President is a big commitment.
If you are successful with your campaign, you become responsible for a large corporation capable of significantly impacting the entire Humber community. I promise that you will get a great deal of satisfaction knowing that you are making a difference on campus.
As President, you are required to work at least 35 hours a week. So if your program requires you to put in a lot of in class hours, you will find it difficult to do the job and keep up with your school work. However, anything is possible if you set realistic expectations for yourself. I guarantee you’ll learn how to manage your time well if you become an executive!

It’s election time once again and I can’t believe how fast time has gone by. Time really does fly when you’re in student government!
We at Humber are privileged to attend a school where every student has the ability to make a significant impact. Our college administration work closely with the HSF on countless projects; something you won’t see at every post-secondary institution.
Why wouldn’t you want to take advantage of this opportunity?
Student government isn’t for everyone, but for those of you who have ever wanted to change something within the school, or wanted to implement a new service for all to enjoy on campus, you may be surprised to find out how truly influential you can become as part of the HSF.
Feel free to talk to one of our current executives to learn more about the positions they hold. We’ll also be blogging about our experiences with these positions in the near future so check back here often!
