A referendum question was also included in the ballot, asking students should the HSF become more entrepreneurial (seeking opportunities to gain more revenue from advertisements, off-campus initiatives, and on-campus events) in order to grow the budget without increasing student fees. A total of 3483 students responded yes to this question, while 270 voted no and 449 voters chose to abstain. These results will be analyzed for future consideration.
The HSF would like to thank candidates and especially voters for their participation and for making this year’s election a success.
